FeeRebates - Child Care Benefit and Child Care Tax Rebate.

Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a subsidy from the Commonwealth Government to assist with the cost of child care. Your rate of CCB depends on your family's annual taxable income.

Families are also eligible for the Child Care Tax Rebate (CCTR).
Families can now claim up to 50% of their out-of-pocket expenses up to $7,500 per child per year.

The Australian Parliament passed the legislation to make it possible for more frequent payment of CCTR. The new delivery options will start from 4 July 2011, being the start of the first week of care for the 2011-12 financial year.

Families will have the option of receiving their CCTR payment every week or fortnight, in line with the attendance reports that the centre submits to the CCMS. If parents prefer, they can still have a quarterly or annual payment of CCTR.
